The Yacht Confidants (TYC) is an independent, owner-side yacht advisory firm supporting yacht owners across operations, compliance, acquisition, structuring and long-term ownership strategy.

We act exclusively in the interest of yacht owners who value discretion, clarity and control, with particular specialization for those based in North and South America operating or acquiring their yachts in Europe.

Our Role

Operating a yacht in involves complex and often fragmented requirements—from VAT exposure and regulatory compliance to ownership structures, flag considerations, charter frameworks and local authorities.

TYC acts as a single point of control, translating these complexities into clear, well-governed solutions. We coordinate, advise and oversee—quietly and efficiently—so owners can enjoy their yacht without operational friction.

We are not brokers, not managers, and not tied to shipyards or service providers. Our role is to protect the owner’s interests at every stage of ownership.
